A competition, that will be sure to cause- a great deal of interest is announced 1 in our advertising columns today by the proprietor®, of Wolfe’s Schnapps.. England; and AuistraJlia, or should, no. one- give: the actual result the- competitor who states the result most closely will become entitled to the prize'—in the event of a tie the prize will be divided equally. The only- stipulations made are that competitors must but out the-label headed “Caution to the Public,” which is on the yolliow wrapper of bottle of Wolfe’s Schnapps, and write their ©ele@tion on the back of it, which must reach the Proprietors not later uian cue ua.y before the match starts. We are asked to draw our readers attention bo the advertisement., and intending competitors should he careful to follow the instructions. All replies will he sealed before the match commences and deposited with the Manager of the “Sydney Daily Telegraph, who will hoi them during its continuance. Mr W. J.
