The case of Mr Thomas Kerr, of the Mutual Life Association, "Wellington, who has returned to the city after a visit to Wliangarei, affords a remarkable illustration of the curative properties of the Kamo mineral springs. Mr Kerr, who has been suffering from acute rheumatism since the early part of January, arrived at the springs on August 18. He could get about only with the greatest difficulty and pain, and that on crutches. Within a short time of starting the treatment, a remarkable was observable in his condition. This continued for a fortnight, the rheumatic pains gradually becoming less acute, and practically ceased at the end of another fortnight. A month after his arrival at the* springs Mir Kerr was able to lay aside his crutches, and afterwards to get about with the aid of only one stick. Further improvement continued, and, after seven weeks* treatment, he was able to walk with comparative freedom. Mr Kerr speaks in the highest terms of his treatment at Kamo Sanatorium, nowunder the management of Mr 4 W* Gandar, formerly of Bellevue.
