Wharf Labourers’ Union last night the fallowing resolution “was- “ That this union heartily supports th ufiited action being taken -by workers in Britain m oppoamg the proposes of the Hon Joseph for a preferential tariff on the lmes t>f taxation on food supplies, that the duties suggested would entail a heavy burden of .suffering on the masses of the Old Country, and also^a serious limitation of the liberties hit hor to exercised by the colonies, m the framing and administering of their fiscal and defence policies-” • v
