THE D.I.C. DANCE.

(From a Correspondent.) On Friday evening last the employees of the D.i.C. gave a most enjoyable dance in the Druid’s Hall, which was very prettily decorated. About one .hundred and forty guests were present. Much praise is due to the committee, with Messrs Henderson aad Garde as joint secretaries The very best of music foil dancing was supplied by Mi' Fleming and his band, which was appreciated by, all. Miss Ross wore a, very pretty dress of cream figured satin. Miss Corrigan bad a black silk, with pink roses. /^ Donovan wore a salmon gown. Miss White, in cream. Mi-ss Geogohan had a very pretty pink silk dress. Miss Bruce in cream silk. Miss Swain had a black voile skirt and a very pretty pink silk blouse. Mrs Kerr wore red silk.
