When. Mr T. W. Kirk, Government Biologist, was in Fiji, he had a conversation with the officials of the Planters’ Association, when several matters affecting the association and the fruit trade were discussed. Mr Kirk told the asrsociation that he believed the banana disease could be eradicated, and he promised to assist if the i>la.nters would furnish him with diseased plants.
