Mr Hogg, M.H.R., who has lately been in communication, with the Lands Department in reference to native and other reserves in the Masterton district which ho considers should be opened up for settlement, is informed by the Minister of Lands that the native blocks can only be dealt with under the Maori Land Administration Act. 1900.
