1 The Rev R. Fairbrotker, sometime of Carterton, Wairarapa, and for the past five years in charge of a parish m New South Wales, is now on a visit to his old home. Mr Fairbrother has just returned to Wellington, after a t n P through the northern wonderland,, and went on to Carterton yesterday afternoon to visit his relations. It isof interest to mention that the parish ovei which the rev gentleman presides in New Sonth Wales covers four thousand sqnare miles of country. 4 mono-st the visitors in the colony at present is Mr Seymour Wilson, of San Francisco, whose mission is to buy gold*
