PASTORAL RUNS TO BE OFFERED 1 OR LEASE BY PUBLIC AUCTION. nniTE Leases of Thirty-one Pastoral JL Runs, comprising a total of C 10,640 ac.es, situated in different parts of the Canterbury District, between the Euntil ui and Waitaki Rivers, will be offered for salo by public auction at the* Offices, Christcluuch and Timaru, on February 2ith and 27th. 1903. The runs vary in size from 11<0 acres to 49,250 acres’, and the upset rentals range from «£Bo to .£IOOO per annum. The terms cf lease are 10, 15 and 14 years, commencing from March Ist, ISO-i, on which date possession will be given. The runs eons.st generally oi mountainous count! y, the lower portions cf which carry good native pasture. The boundaries are generally fenced, except wnere natural boundaries are sufficient. In some cases there are sheep-yards or outlying huts on the runs, but the homestead buildings are on contiguous freeholds. The improvements on the will be valued before the expiration of the existing leases, and the amount of the valuation will be payable by the incoming tenants before being admitted to possession.
