SUICIDE BY A SCHOOLMASTER
HAWERA* January 5.
The body of Mr James schoolmaster at Rowan, Avho had been missing since Sunday, the 21st ult., was found in the bush at Upper Manaia road, A\ r ith the arteries in the neck severed. At the inquest a“ verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned. Deceased was forty years of age. He had been despondent since the last examinations, through not getting a good average of passes.. This makes the third consecutive suicide of schoolmasters of the same school
