THE STUD BILL.
The Joint Agricultural, Pastoral and Stock Committee of Parliament has reported that, having given careful consideration to the report of the subcommittee set up to inquire as to how best to give effect to the objects to bo achieved by the Stud Bill, it recommends that there be forwarded to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies, and the owners of the principal liorsebreeding establishments in the -colony, the following records: - miffed” as originally sub-
(2) Hie Stud Bill as „ subsequently submitted to your committee. (3) The evidence taken by the subcommittee.
ihe report then goes on to say that, these papers having been sent out to the several bodies interested, they be invited to forward to the Minister of Agriculture their views as to what legislation on the subject is desirable and practicaole.
