Brassey beat York Derby beat Pansy Austral beat Nap Commander beat Reek Miss McGrath beat Miss Mac Kate Kelly ran a bye The meeting of the Wellington and Suburban Coursing Club was brought to a conclusion at Petone on Saturday afternoon Prior to the commencement of the third round the committee met and decided to uphold the obj'ection lodged against Austral, that dog having wou money in a stake at Oamaru, and being therefore ineligible for the Novice Stakes which was for dogs that had never won money in an advertised stake. Th e committee therefore disqualified Austral and ailowed Ginger Wine and Nap, who'were put out by Austral in the first and second rounds, to meet m the third round. Following are details:
