Mr John Holmes, of Wellington, forms the subject of “ Commercial Conversation No. 470.” The interview, with portrait of Mr Holmes, covers two pages of the journal, and while it deals mainly with the flax trade, it covers the whole fold of New Zealand affairs, concerning which Mr Holmes gives to English rea.Ws a vast amount of useful information
