(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) Friday, 6.10 p.m. l lie wedding was celebrated yesterday of Miss Blanche (Winnie), fourth daughter of Mr Pidwell, and Mr Edwin Campbell, eldest son of Mr C. Butchers, of Timaru. The Rev H. R. Dewsbury was the officiating minister.. The Waione, the latest addition to Hatnck and Co.’s river fleet, wdiich is to be launched to-morrow morning, will shorten the time of the trip to Pipiriki by two or three hours. Her horse-power is three times as great as that of the Wairere, although her beam is just the same. Her engines are what are known as “triple expansion tube.” She has two sets, driving four propellers, two on each shaft. In addition, she has one of the latest water-tube boilers. Her saloon will be handsomely fitted up, and will seat 30 persons. Under the awning on deck there will be seating accommodation for fully 100 persons.
