A deputation of representatives of friendly societies waited upon tlie Colonial Secretary on Saturday, and protested against the. -by-law recently passed by the Hospital Trustees refusing to accept lodge members as out-patients. A request was made that the by-law should be disallowed. Sir Joseph Ward asked that tlie views of tho deputation should be put into writing and forwarded to him for the consideration of the Cabinet-
