LAND BOARD
The Land Board met on Thursday. Present—Mr j. W. A. Marchant (Com* miss Loner), and Messrs A. W. Hogg, M.H.R., J. Stevens, M.H.R., and A. Reese. •-
# The following applications to obtain titles were approved-:—Section 2, block 6, Makotuku, M. Risk; section 11, block 11, Apiti, E. H. Cummerfield; section 40, block 10, Ongo, P. Foster; section 850, block 4, Castlepoint, P. A. Beiliss; section 43, block 10, Apiti, K. Campbell. The following transfers were approved : Section 10, block 5, Pipiriki, M. Hogan and Co. to W. Brown and W. Forsyth; section 31, block 7, Tararua, J. Lofgren and A. Ockerstrom to themselves in separate shares; section 25, block 10, Tararua, Keene and Henderson, to H. Keene; section 33, block 5, Aohanga, H. and A. Higginson, to H. Higginson; section 6, block 11, Pohangina, Vaughan and Bagnall to D. P. Bagnall; section 24, block 13, Pukeokahu, R. S. Curkam to J. Barlow to C. H. O’Dwyer. It was resolved to fix the value of improvements of section 3, Upper Makuri V.S., at £32 3s, and to re-offer it for lease.
With reference to the subdivision and transfer of parts of section 6, block, 3, Hautapu, and 27, Hautapu, from the respective lessees to the Messrs P. J. Nathan, D. J. Nathan and J. Nathan and Co., it was resolved to waive the production of the usual declarations from the transferees and also to exempt them from residing on the sections.
