CHRISTCHURCH, January 25.
Mr Smart, secretary of the New Zealand Swimming Association, received a cable message from Melbourne this morning, asking if M. Champion had left New Zealand for Melbourne, as the amateur swimming championships in that city would likely be nostponed on account of the Queen s death. Champion is, however, now on his way to Melbourne*
