METHODIST CONFERENCE
AUCKLAND, January 14. At the Primitive Methodist Conference to-day the station ancl Sundayschool reports ivere considered. The station reports showed! an increase of ninety-three members after filling uji all vacancies caused by death, removals, etc. The school reports showed tliat there are in the colony sixty-nine Primitive Methodist Sunday schools, with fifty-four teachers and 4890 scholars, A deputation from, the Auckland Ministers’ Association was received. The conference dealt- with the report of the Building Committee. This showed that the connexion has church properties to the value of £42,137, and that £783 was paid off the debt during the year, leaving a present debt of £10.206.
