A youth named Charles Norman, 17, was brought up at Marvlebone policecourt. on Tuesday (says “Lloyd’s’ of October 16), charged with stabbing William Shine, of Elgin-mews, Maidavale. — Butler, a companion of Shine, had been keeping company’ with a girl named Trimmer, and had a photograph of her. Butler and Shine were in the Edgwareroad on-the Btli inst., and were accosted by the prisoner and some others, who demanded the. photograph., in question. Shine tried, to find it at Butler’s house, ancF because he failed he was set upon by the prisoner and others. Norman, it was said, drew a knife from his socket, and stabbed Shine in the shoulder. The latter is still under surgical treatment. Mr Piowden sent the ease for trial.
