Advice has been received that the Tyser Company’s steamer Miiniro, Captain Norman, left London for Melbourne, Sydney and New Zealand ports on the 10th inst. Included in ihe Hawea’s cargo from Auckland for Wellington were nine large kauri logs, the largest of' which was 76 feet long, and is intended for a mast. Advices by the San Francisco mail state that subject to her safe arrival at Home the ship Margaret Galbraith has been sold out of the New Zealand service. Mr Tait, formerly chief officer of the Waihora, is at present in charge of the Pukaki, with Mr Crawford, late second officer of the Kini, as chief officer. Captain Apstein, formerly of the Kawatiri, is acting temporarily as second officer on the Kini.

Advice has been received stating that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tekoa, which, left London on October 14th for Wellington, has 406 tons to land at Hobart and 4850 tons for New Zealand ports.
