Mr John Wilkie, of Lily Bank, Wangtfnui, has purchased from the New Zealand and Australian Land Company of Otatjo ten purebred Lincoln ewes. Mr Georee Sutton, the well-known breeder, brought up 160 2 and 4-tooth Lincoln rams by the Oonah on Saturday. The animals have been entered for the Napier and Waneanui fairs. 6 The results of the law examinations will not be officially announced until after tho next meeting of the New Zealand Univerwty Senate in Dunedin,
