The Pprt Nicholson Yacht Club’s handicap race Jot third-class yacht 3 took place on Saturday. , The following boats were entered i Mahaki* scratch; Iris, 12min.; lt ; pp’e, 12min ; Greyhound, 20min; and May, 20min.; but the Iris did not start. As the flag , fell the,eleven boats got across within a few seconds of each other, and presented a splendid picture to the large number of spectators on The wharf. The first round was accomplished in good time, the Miru and Dauntless blearing the bnoy in 65min. A s the wind fell daring the second round all the boats returned to their moorings.
