Itjckxand, January 21. The Warden at Paeroa dismissed an appeal brought by the Waihi Company against a decision of the Inspector of Mines limiting the number of men employed on Sundays to foui for cyanide vats. It was the intention of the Legislature that no more work than necessary should be carried on on Sundays. Auckland, January 25.
