Johnsonville, January 25. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Johnsonville stock report is as follows:—Fat cattle were in average supply. The" ox beef generally was of medium quality only, with the.exception of choice handy bullocks. Prices were a shade under those of last week. Prime but somewhat old cows were relatively cheaper than the younger but not so heavily fatted sorts. Sheep were in moderate numbers, and were well competed for. Bullocks made from £5 5s to £5 12s 6d; prime fat cows, £4 to £l l2s 6d ; others, £3 10s to £3 17s 6d ; fat ewes, 6s to 6s 8d ; fat wethers (light), 8s; medium, 8s 6d j lambs, 5s Id to 6s 2d ; stores, 2s 6d to 4s 6d. London, January 25. At the wool sales prices were very firm, ana there was keen competition for better sorts.
