Mr E. M. G-. Eddy, the New South Walesr Chief Railway Commissioner, is seriously*" ill in Brisbane.
A special train has been despatched for/ a doctor.
Brisbane, June 21.
Mr Eddy is dead. ' ■- " He had been suffering from k-refney and* lung complications for a considerable timeiy and he became seriously ill 1 while on a tout? of inspection of the New, South "Wales northern lines. He came to Brisbane for medical advice.

Mr Eddy's body was embalmed aftf. r being sent to Sydney.* Bright's diser vSe was the initial cause of death, comp 7 _i ca _ tions supervening on a cold being c? , U ght while he was on tour. He intended going to North Queensland for the benefi' j Q f hishealth.
