The unseasonable weather which has prevailed during the past month has been a serious hindrance to the country settlers, who have been almost unable to got on with shearing operations. A wool sale had been fixed by the members of the Wellington Wool Brokers' Association for Friday, 13th November, but it has been found necessary, owing to the small quantity of wool coming forward, to postpone the sale to December 4tfc.
