BISMARCK'S REVELATIONS
Berlin, October 27.
The Reichsanzeigr (the Imperial States Advertiser) says the German Government neither confirms nor denies the truth of Prince Bismarck’s revelation, and adds that it is confident the Powers can. rely on Germany’s sincerity and fidelity in connection with existing treaties. Vienna, October 29.
The city newspapers are now calmer in their references to Prince Bismarck’s revelations, which leads to the conclusion that they had been inspired. They now contend that Prince Bismarck’s duplicity will not affect the stability of the Triple Alliance.
Berlin, October 29. The Emperor William is stated to be furious at Prince Bismarck’s revelations. Berlin, October 30. The Emperor William has written to the
Emperor Francis of Austria, explaining his view of Prince Bismarck’s revelations.
Berdin, October 31
It is reported that the Emperor has directed Prince Bismarck to cease publishing or repeating recent revelations, and threatens to suppress the ex-Chaneellor’s organ.
Rome, October 30. The feeling in Italy is one of resentment at Prince Bismarck’s duplicity.
