A. new organ is being erected in tbo Roman Catholic Church, Nelson, by Messr.'J Finciiam and Hobday, of Melbourne, similar, but somewhat larger than the instrumonl; creeled by them in the Presbyterian Church in that town. It will be opened by Mr Maughan Barnebt about the middle of nex's month. On Friday Constable J. W. Cox took over th'3 Pctone Station, replacing Constable Lystor. who retires on compensation after 37 years' service.
