NOMINATIONS, HANDICAPS, ACCEPTANCES, ETC.

UNITED HUNT CLUB. Excellent nominations were recived last Friday for the United Hunt Club's Annual Steeplechase Meeting, which will be held on the Rutt Park Racecourse on the 13th July. It will be seen that His Excellency Lord Glasgow has nominated his brown mare The Fly for the United Hunt Club steeplechase Handicap, of three miles and a half. This is the first time that the name of Her Majesty's representative has appeared in this capacity since Sir Hercules Robinson patronised the sport in New Zealand. Mr J. E. Henry will declare the handicaps on the 4th of j uly, and acceptances will close six days later.
