TRAGIC MURDER OF A PRIEST.
Paris, May 13. Madame Amelot, a lady who devoted an immense fortune to the relief of the poor in Paris, has killed her confessor, Abbe Broglie, brother of the Due de Broglie, under the delusion that he persecuted The murder by Madame Amelot has created a tremendous sensation in Paris. She is suffering from religious monomania, and declares that the Abbe divulged secrets of the confessional.
