LATE COMMERCIAL.
Freeman R. Jackson and Co.’s Wanganui stock report (telegraphed on April 3rd to the Times) is as follows :—• At Waverley and Wanganui only a few cattle came forward. Bidding for them was dull, and prices unchanged. We had a fair entry of sheep, with a better demand. Pigs were at lower values. Cattle —-At Waverley: Steers, £2 15s 6d; heifers, £2 7s 6d ; cows, <£3 3s ; and weaners, 295. At Wanganui: Fit cows, £4 ; milch cows, £4 10s to £5. Sheep—At Waverley : Two - tooth ewes, 6s to 7s ; fat ewes, 5s to 7s ; full-mouthed ewes, 3s 6d to 4s ; fat wethers, 9s 3d ; two-tooth wethers, 6s 3d to 6s 8d ; lambs, 2s 6d. At Wanganui -. Fat ewes, 5s to 6s 6d ; full-mouthed ewes, 3s to 4s ; old ewes, 2s ; fat lambs, 63 6d to 7s. Pigs —Baconers, 33s to 39s ; porkers, 15s to 20s ; others, 9s to 13a 6d ; small pigs, 2s to 6s. The following is the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company’s report of the Addington market (telegraphed on April 3rd to the Mail) : Beef —Full supply; competitions weak, especially for secondclass quality ; prime, 19s to 20s ; cows, 15s to 16s 6d. Dairy cattle Large entry; demand slack; best cows to £7. Store cattle—Small entry; enquiry very dull. Store sheep—Entry of about 15,000 ; demand very dull, and prices easier. Lambs, 3s to 4s 6d ; 2-tooths, 5s 6d to 7s; crossbred ewes, sound mouth, 4s to 6s ; do. merino ewes, Is to ls9d. Fat lambs —Small supply, principally secondclass ; competition dull: prime, 8s to 9s ; inferior, 4s to 6s. Fat sheep —Small supply ; improved competition: freezers, 9s to 11s ; ewes, 6s to 9s ; inferior do, 4s to 5s ; merino wethers, 4s to 6s. Pigs—Large supply, principally baconers, which suffered a sharp decline of 4s to 5s a head ; bacon, 2fd to 3d per lb.

Bran and pollard, 6*d. Potatoes—Local grown, £2 5s to £2 7s 6d ; Circular Head, £3 to £3 ss. Onions, £3 ss. Butter —Dairy made, 3|d to 4d ; factory, 5d to s|d. Cheese, 3d to 3Jd. Bacon, 4d to 5Jd. Melbourne, April 3. Wheat, 2s 2d to 2s 4d ; 600 bags New Zealand wheat were sold privately at 2s lid to 2s 2id. Flour—Roller, £5 10s to £5 15s. Maize, Is 9d. Oats —Algerian, lid to Is 3£d ; stout white, Is 4£d to Is sd. Barley (dull) — Cape, Is 4d; malting, 3s 4d. Bran, sjd. Pollard, 7d. Potatoes, £1 2s 6d to £1 ss. Adelaide, April 3. Wheat, 2s 3d ; flour, roller made, £5 12s 6d to £5 15s ; bran and pollard, 6sd.
