THE WAIRARAPA DISASTER.
Captain Allman, nautical adviser to the Government, has furnished the Minister of Marine with an elaborate report upon the wreck of the Wairarapa. We understand that it agrees generally with the finding of the Court of Inquiry at Auckland, and it makes a number of suggestions with regard to the more 'Complete equipment of passenger vessels with life-saving appliances.
