The experts appointed to examine and report on the railways and rolling-stock have completed the Napier-Palmerston section and the Palmerston-Foxton section, and to-day they were engaged in examining the Palmerston-Wanganui section, says yesterday’s Manawatu Times. Every bridge and every vehicle is being subjected to a close examination. A special train is being run for the use of the examiners. We have received a small, neatlyprinted work dealing with the history and therapeutics of massage, written by Mr Hermann Roth, a specialist in that treatment. With the brochure is a photo of Mr Roth, and copies of testimonials, &c.
