The details for last month are :—Spirits in bulk, .£2680 19s 6d; spirits in case, 522162 19s; spirits perfumed, .£22 5s ; cigars and cigarettes, <£94o 9s 6d ; tobacco, .£3522 4s 6d; wine (sparkling), .£79 18s 3d; Australian wine, .£271 5s 4d ; wine (other kinds), .£404 6s lid; ale and beer,dß23l 15s; tea, 19s 9d; coffee, cocoa and chocolate, .£7l Is 9d; sugar, molasses and treacle, .£l3lß 10s 9d; glucose, .£ll 6s 5d ; opium, .£137 17s ; goods by weight, .£4831 18s 8d; ad valorem, .£6490 14s 8d ; other duties, .£1312 8s 6d.
