The Chief Justice gave judgment on Monday in, the case in which Major Kemp sought to have Warena Hunia and himself declared trustees of-the Horowhenua Block, consisting of 14,900 acres, and valued in 1890 at £25,000. His Honor made a decree as prayed for, and ordered that Warena Hunia should pay costs as on a claim of £SOOO ; that the'case be referred to the Native Land Court in order that it should be determined who are to be the representatives of those registered owners who are dead, and that Kemp and Hunia should account for all moneys received by. them on account of the block.- vr:
