SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.
By Telegraph. —Press Associat ion. ' Auckland, , December 5. The R.M.S. Alameda arrived at 2.45 o’clock this afternoon from San Francisco, with English and American mails. Pas- : senders for Auckland Messrs Thomas Keenan, T. Hi Clemenger, G. A. FairbrotSer, H. T.' Wilkinson, A. E. Bridges, Thomas G. Hoisch, Mrs F. Richardson, Messrs Allah Holmes, G. Jackson, J. Jackson, Miss M. Murray, Messrs G. T. Murray, Charles Smith} • Alex.- J. Troup, Mr and Mrs Robt. L. Williams and .child, Norman Croolce, Chief Justice Ide, of Samoa, and two daughters, Dr Hoslcyn, R.N:, Mate Kaimer,Mrs A. Frings,]Mr Percy A. Hadley, and 11 steerage. - The Alameda discharged the San Francisco pilot at 5 p.m. on November 16. On the morning of the 22nd the anchor was dropped off Honolulu, and the same evening the steamer resumed her voyage, and after a stay of three hours at Apia sailed for Auckland on the afternoon of the 29th ult., arriving at ten minutes to 3 this - afternoon. The steaming time from pilot, to pilot was 19 days, 1 hour, 11 minutes. • . A -
