IMPORTANT CORRECTION OF MELBOURNE TELEGRAM.

We have pleasure in contradicting our United Press Association telegram of Bth September, 1894, stating that McLean Bros., hardware merchants, of Elizabeth street, had failed, and regret that through an error in the cable the mistake was made, and trust that McLean Bros, and Rigg, Limited, so long and favourably known throughout Australia and New Zealand, will not sustain any injury through this blunder.
