White horses aro to be barred ’’from military service in Germany. The Emperor lias ordered that no more be purchased for the army, and those now in use are to be sold. He thinks that in a war white horses would be especially conspicuous because of the use of smokeless powder, aud would afford an easy mark for the enemy.
