At a meeting of the Wellington Horse Parade Association on Wednesday night at the association's rooms, there was a large at-, tendance, Mr. Ivor James in the chair. It, was resolved to invite Mr. T- E, Mfcllor,, of Black Bridge, to, accept the position of judge in the tradesmen's, turnout class. As to, the engagement of a band, the secretary, and treasurer were empowered to make the necessary arrangements. For the convenience of those attending it was decided to have two 400 r. gallon tanks of water on the ground, and, resolutions were also passed granting, donors of special prizes complimentary tickets, and authorising the sale of theprivi--leges by auction on Wednesday next... The following donations were acknowledged..— " Citizen," .£2 2s; Brandon, Hislop and Brandon, £1 Is; Mr Allan, .£1 Is; Golden Gem Company, .£2. After the appointment of class stewards the meeting adjourned. The secretary of the association (Mr F. E. Hills) will be in attendance at the rooms over Messrs Townsend and Paul's every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive entries and give information as to the parade,
