MESSRS LOWES & IRONS' STOOK SALE REPORT. We had full entries at our regular etook •ale last week, and the tone of the market was a little better throughout. Good sheep of all classes met with a brisker demand and prices were a shade higher. Nearly 500 head of cattle were yarded, which were of good quality and sold well. Two or three pens were passed as being too highly reserved, but all sold. The prices obtained were as follow : —Fat cows, £6loa to £6 7s 61; store cows, 70a to 72s 6d ; three and four yoar-old store bullocks, £5 17a 6d and £6; two and a half to three-year-old steers, £5 5a to £5 12a 6d ; two year Bteera to 85s; young steers, 53s to 60a ; young calves, 25s to 39a. For eheep we quote 2-tooth wethers, forward, 10s 2d to lis 3d ; ordinary ditto, &s 5d ; mixed ewes and wethers, forward, for turnips, lOi; empty ewes, 8a 3d to 9s 6d; ewes in lamb, 8a to 9s; good lambs to 8a 2d ; culled ditto, 3e 3d to 6s; culled 2 tooth ewes, 7a 7d to Bs,

Edwards and Mcßeath report as follows on the labour market -.—There are signs of an improvement in the demand, which waa wanted, as the market has been exceedingly diill. Freeman R. Jaokaon's Johnsonville stock report:-Fat cattle came forward in average numbers. The quality was good throughout, though the weight varied considerably.
