La Mandin, two French delegates to the International Miners' Congress, have been conducted acrosß the Belgian frontier for exciting the French against the Belgian miners last year. London, May 24. Chesterfield, secretary of the Dook Labourers' Union at Hull, attempted to commit suicide, being applied, it is said, by the misery resulting from the recent strike. Eight thousand men went on strike, and there is now employment no more than sufficient for one thousand of that number.
