A case in which Mr Edwards, owner of North Island, claims foom tba Waipawa Jockey Club the stakes and totalisator dividend in a handicap race at the recent meeting, has been adjourned by the Magistrate to Waipawa, on the application of Mr Burnett, who appeared lor the defendant club. The application for the change -of venue was strongly opposed by Mr Gothard, counsel for the plaintiff. Dunedin, May 17. In the case of Roberts v.
