MINISTERIAL IMPEACHMENT. (fress association.) Melbourne, May 18. A statement has been tabled in the House of Assembly to the effect that the Railway Commissioners took no adequate steps to carry out the will of Parliament. It also declares that the Ccmmissioners were guilty of grossly extravagant mismanagement of the railways, which since their term of office have been conducted without economy or business principles, and they also refused to take any steps towards a scheme of reform and retrenchment,

MrR. Speight, Chairman of the Railway i Board, who has been interviewed, de- | dares that the charges are baseless and unproveable. Melbourne, May 20. A motion praying for the removal of the Railway Commissioners will be debated on Wednesday next.
