THE WAIKATO ELECTION.

(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, October 11. Th e result of the Waikato election was declared to-day at Hamilton by the returning officer, when a somewhat exciting scene took place. Mr Murray, the defeated candidate, accused the Waikato Times, a local paper, of partiality. To thi3 the proprietor of tho paper, Mr Edgcumbe, retorted by calling Mr Murray a iiar. However, the excitement soon subsided.
