SHEEP EPIDEMIC IN SOUTH. LAND.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Invercargill, Ootober 12. A disease among well wintered sheep is prevalent in the western district. The animal dies within an hour of attack. The liver breaks down easily, and is a pale colour ; the gall bladder greatly distended, and in some cases ruptured. The disease appears identical with that reported from Rangitikei.
