ANOTHER GISBORNE DEFAULTER.

(PRESS association*. ) Gisborne, July 29. Mr F. J. Piesse, secretary of the Gisborne Building Society, left for Auckland on 12th inst. Not returning when expected, an examination of his accounts was made, and showed a deficiency of £3lO. It is thought that Piesse proceeded to San Francisco by the last boat. He was seen on board the steamer at Auckland. Steps are being taken to bring him back. He was also agent for the Australian Mutual and Norwich Union, and secretary to the Park Club and local School Committee.
