THE OROUA DOWNS MYSTERY.

The state of the remains exhumed near Cainpbelltown a few days ago show that the body has not been buried more than 12 months.

Inspector Thomson received a telegram on Tuesday from Constable Gillespie, of Foxton, stating that an inquest was held on Monday on the skeleton found on the Oroua Downs estate on the 17th inst. The medical evidence showed that there were no marks of violence apparent, and the jury returned a verdict to the effect that there wa* no evidence to show how or by what means the man came to his deuth.
