OCEAN PENNY POSTAGE.

Sir, —A letter by Mr Henniker Heaton states two important facts which go quite in the excellent direction your article on Monday pointed out. At present he says penny postage exists between the United States and Canada, and he posted a letter weighing loz in New York for the British territory of Yancouver, over 3000 miles by rail, and the postage was only Id. He says further that in Canada the proposal is most popular, that the Canadian Postmaster General is only waiting till England shows the way.—l am, &c., Penny Stamp.
