The trial shipment of butter sent Home by the Government realised 114 s for best quality, while ordinary quality brought 94s to 110 s. The Britannia was ordered into quarantine on arrival here owing to there being a case of chicken-pox among the passengers. Melbourne, April 20. Arrived —Rotomahana, from Bluff. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable message from their London office, dated 15th instant : “ Hemp continues dull of sale.
