THE MINE ABANDONED. (per press association). Auckland, April 11. A rush of water took place in the dip at Huntly in whioh four men lost their lives last December. The rush was so great that the men at work had to leave, and as all efforts to keep it down were unavailing, the proprietors have decided to abandon the drive. A good seam of coal had been started there.
