One of the results of his Excellency the Governor’s visit to the Uriwera oountry is that many of the chiefs have decided to b*-ing the whole of the tribal lands under the operation of the Native Lands Court, and have made application accordingly to the authorities, besides appointing Mr H. Mitchell, of Rotorua, to carry out the survey.
